Who operates this website

This website is operated by OAKES. For questions about your personal data, email team@thisisoakes.com or use the contact form and include “Privacy” in the subject.

Cookies and external content

The public OAKES homepage and this information page do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or browser storage to follow visitors. Images and fonts are served by this website or your device. Spotify links open Spotify only when you choose to follow them; no Spotify player is loaded on these pages.

WordPress may use necessary authentication cookies when an administrator visits the login area. These are separate from ordinary visits to the public pages. The public pages do not ask for cookie consent because they do not place cookies requiring it.

When you contact us

The Contact Form 7 contact form collects the name, email address, subject and message you provide. We use these details to respond and, where relevant, discuss or arrange a booking or collaboration. Messages are sent through the website’s existing email service and are also stored in the website administration using Flamingo. Technical submission data, such as an IP address and browser information, may be processed to deliver the form and prevent misuse.

The basis for handling a booking enquiry is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. For other enquiries and protecting the website, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to correspondence and maintaining a secure service. Please avoid including sensitive personal information that is not needed for your enquiry.

Hosting and service providers

The site is hosted by TransIP. Hosting and email providers process technical data needed to deliver and protect the website and correspondence. Server logs can include your IP address, the requested address, request time and browser information. We do not use these pages to build advertising profiles.

If you follow a link to Spotify or another external website, that service’s own privacy and cookie terms apply.

Retention

Enquiries are retained for handling the request, any resulting collaboration and relevant business records. Retention depends on the purpose of the correspondence and any applicable legal record-keeping obligations. Technical logs are subject to the hosting service’s operational retention settings. Contact us to ask about a specific record or request its deletion.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy of your personal data. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Use the contact form to make a request. We may need information to verify your identity before responding.

You can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or your local data protection authority.

Changes

We will update this page when our use of personal data or cookies changes. If we introduce tracking or other cookies that require consent, we will request it before those technologies are loaded.
